The Project will be structured on a Build Own Operate (BOO) basis. The implementation of the project will follow a phased approach, with the initial phase focusing on the establishment of a 1 GW wind farm situated in the central north/northwest region of Uzbekistan. The Wind farm will be located in Mingbulak, Navoiy region, approximately 200 km southeast from Urgench city. The OHTL route has not yet been determined and hence related surveys and studies for the OHTL were excluded from the agreed services. Masdar has engaged Consultant to undertake certain agreed E&S services for the Project, including the National EIA, Environmental & Social Impact Assessment (ESIA) and other E&S deliverables.
