Project Information
The Dairy Value Chains Development Program (DVCDP) project aims to improve the livelihoods of rural women and men milk producers, processors, and market entrepreneurs operating primarily in the regions of Jizzakh, Kashkadarya, Samarkand and Syrdarya, Uzbekistan. The objectives of the program encompass increasing productivity, competitiveness, income, and market access to small-scale producers and commercial dairy farms in these two regions.

Project Activities
The Dairy Value Chains Development Program (DVCDP) project aims to improve the livelihoods of rural women and men milk producers, processors, and market entrepreneurs operating primarily in the regions of Jizzakh, Kashkadarya, Samarkand and Syrdarya, Uzbekistan. The objectives of the program encompass increasing productivity, competitiveness, income, and market access to small-scale producers and commercial dairy farms in these two regions.

• Conduction of data collection among 2200 households and 100 communities in 4 provinces;
• Quality assurance system;
• Analyzing and sharing data collection in real time using a cloud-based CAPI system;
• Monitor and provide feedback on the success in meeting the project objectives;
• Translation and localization of the questionnaire;
• Conduction of piloting;
• Conduction of trainings for interviewers;
• Analyzing and sharing data collection in real time using a cloud-based Sistemas Integrales system;
• Monitor and provide feedback on the success in meeting the project objectives; and
• Preparation of report.
